PAS Phases

When PAS was formed in 2006 we started with 3 products. Our aim was to provide a way of making sports nutrition for the pro athlete easier, so we developed three products. All three phases were packed into sachets and sold in boxes for ease of use by athletes.

So here is a little bit of history on the original products.

Phase 1
The original pre game event energizer, developed long before the pre workout market exploded. Designed with functional levels of specific ingredients to improve concentration, reaction time, delay fatigue and increase power. The formula has been updated over the years and the name has changed to Game Ready
Phase 2
This was the recovery product, initially with 60g carbs and 30g protein, came in blackcurrant and a citrus flavour. The 2:1 ratio of carbs to protein changed over time and this has now become RGF-1 with a 1:1 ratio of carbs to protein.
Phase 3
This was a slow release protein mix in sachet, formulated for use in between meals and at night time. This is now called MGF-1 and comes in tubs and provides one of the highest Leucine contents per serving of all protein on the market.

Going forward we will use the Phase 1,2 and 3 categories and the symbols to allow you to identify our products and best times / scenarios to use. The below is based on what ive found most effective over the last 10 years in pro sport.

Phase 1 –Performance
  • 3 day Sodium Citrate Load to buffer
  • Beta Power – 6 week use prior to major competitive periods to increase intracellular buffer to allow training at a high intensity
  • Creatine Monohydrate to increase muscle size and strength and power use during season and training blocks
  • Game Ready 20 mins before kick off to improve focus, power and delay fatigue
  • Pro Iso Elite or Pro Iso drinks or Excel Gels at half time to maintain energy levels in second half
  • AGF-2 during weights sessions to maintain hydration, magnesium for muscle contraction/relaxation and provide amino’s for muscle repair
Phase 2 – Recover

The recovery process is much more than just taking a shake after a session, although this is a good starting point.

RGF-1 to refuel muscle glycogen and provide protein foe muscle repair and growth, Creatine for increasing lean muscle and explosive power. All in one recovery formula for all sports.

Cherry Bomb is a Monterrey cherries sachet used to reduce inflammation and soreness, use post games and competition.

MGF-1 is a protein blend designed to give a slower or sustained release compared to pure whey protein and is therefore more suited to night time use and / or between meals. It’s a thicker more filling shake which means it can also be used as a meal replacement when looking to reduce bodyfat.

100% Whey is the best option for post weight training and to use as reach daily protein requirements, light and easy to drink in four great flavours.

Colostrum is the first milk produced by the cow to give the calf much needed nutrients and athletes have been using colostrum to support immune function, aid recovery and recent research has shown it effective in gut healing, particularly important for athletes who have to take regular NSAID’s.

Night Time Recharge formulated to allow athletes to get a deeper sleep. Quality sleep has a huge impact on recovery and the feedback on NTR is extremely positive. Not only does it have compounds to induce sleep it also provides magnesium to relax muscles and amino acids to help muscle repair. I use with athletes the night before days off, night before and night off the game.

Phase 3 – Supporting Nutrition

The following products may only be needed at certain times, e.g Winter months or during illness or by different body types.

CLA may help reduce bodyfat and support lean muscle gains. No stimulants so there are no side effects but needs to be taken for 12 weeks for maximum results.
